We now have a trail guide making himself available to our guests. Keith Gibson, Chief of the Matewan Fire Department, knows the trails like the back of his hand and is now available to guide your group on the trails. He has valuable experience as a guide and obvious safety, rescue, and first aid training and credentials. He is a local resident that has vast knowledge of the interesting history of Matewan, the trail system, and the surrounding area that he will share with you during the ride. We suggest that you use a guide on your first ride if you are a beginner/novice trail rider, not experienced in riding on mountains, or are visiting the trails for the first time.
